The weekend
of October 12, BLM held a wild horse and burro adoption at New
Brockton, Alabama. Donna West did a demonstration on Friday
afternoon and Saturday. She is really good, and does so much safety
teaching. Here, she is using a bamboo pole and what looks like John
Sharp's "make a halter on the critter" technique. Nice
touch, Donna!

Mustangs adopted
by Gwilda Byrd and Sandra Schluter - the white mare is Gwilda's,
and the mare and foal are Sandra's. Nice!!
